EX-SERVICEMEN’S CANTEEN FACILITIES
If you are an ex-serviceman, you have to surrender your serving Smart Cards and get ESM Smart cards made from any nearby URC within one year of your retirement. The procedure is same as for making a new card. Approach any URC and ask for application form free of cost. Fill up the application form with your recent photograph in civil dress and with PPO number. You can apply even without PPO number. The cost of making a card is Rs.100/-.

ReplyDeleteAs per rule an Ex-Serviceman has to apply for ESM Smart Card within 1 year of retirement. But I retired in May 2005 from IAF, am I not eligible for ESM Smart Card. Kindly advise me accordingly.

My home address is in Patna , Bihar,but I am residing in Ambala Cantt(Haryana).Station Hq says NOC lekar aao apne district se.Kya bina NOC ke canteen card nahi banega.Jabki mai service canteen card jama kr raha hun.Jab purana wala jama kr raha hun.Kyunki exserviceman canteen card ek hi jagah banega.Please guide me.mera e-mai vku200264@gmail.com
SIR, I HAVE COMPLETED 9 YEAR 5 MONTHS OF SERVICE IN THE INDIAN AIR FORCE, AND GOT DISCHARGE AFTER BEING SELECTED IN BANK AS PER IAF TERMS AND CONDITIONS, IN THE YEAR DECEMBER 2010. BUT TILL NOW I HAVE NOT TAKEN ESM CANTEEN CARD.

My father was a service man in He dead on 1996. His wife means my mother and his daughter means me have warishion certificate by the air force office but we don't use it for a long time. .. now we want to use that card.

Madhurimaji, your mother has to approach the nearest CSD canteen and apply for card in her own name. The canteen incharge will help you in the matter. The remaining ones above are also advised to do the same. The application is processed elsewhere and takes 1 to 1.5 months. Rs. 130/ is being charged currently for the card. Anil from Bhopal

ReplyDeletet 4246-Golden Lion Canteen Jagadhri, Haryana, I along with my ex-service man father in law were misbehaved by the staff members and even the Manager ordered his staff members to throw us out of the canteen. One of the lady staff member said we are doing BAKWAS when we objected for issuing items to one of the customer, whereas just five minutes back we were refused to issue the items saying the sale is stopped because of arrival of goods. The manager even said we can complain where ever we wish to. The scene happened onat around 3:30 PM on 08.08.15.

When I have approached the authorities, they are telling that I am not eligible for the facilities! I wonder why are they denying my right to get the facilities, I have been enjoying since 1983, now? Can any one convince me please?

ReplyDeleteIan senior citizen being run 63 yrs of age vide senior citizen identity card No. 19/052/N9299 issued on07/12/15. I was on the queue of liquor counter on 25 may 2018.The billing person of liquor has harassment and miss behaviour to me. I request you keep take action witch person was on duty.

I was permanent commissioned after 4 years of BSC nursing in the Armed forces medical college. I served in the Indian Army for 18 months and left service in 1985 on marriage ground. I did not have any bond or contract with the Army. I was released properly by my unit commandant. My Army service certificate it says date if relinquishment of commission 20 Jan 1985 (FN) approved military service. Am I entitled for canteen benefit? After all these years I heard somebody saying that the years of training in the army is counted towards service years. Please somebody clarify this for me. Thanks
